So, today I came across a very important question, why pray?

So I checked online and surfed around a bit, and went to this site. http://www.gotquestions.org/why-pray.html

It still did not tell me why I should pray. Let me tell you my perspective.

God knows what will happen and God has planned everything already. So whether or not we pray, it's going to happen anyway. If adam and eve didn't eat that fuit of knowing good and evil, well, we probably will still be free from sin, and then Jesus won't have to die on the cross and really, there won't be any religion whatsoever. There was this King in Judah in the OT, Hezekiah, he was going to die, God should let him die to save Judah, but since he was faithful to the Lord, he asked for 15 years of extra life, and God gave him that. And then his son Mannaseh was evil and basically led to the downfall of Judah. Guess how old was Mannaseh when he turned King? 13! So basically, it's because of that prolonged life Hezekiah had, that gave shit to Judah. So as we can see, be careful what you asked for!

So, that website said, "He has promised that when we ask for things that are in accordance with His will, He will give us what we ask for" wtf? inf accordance with His will? So why pray? this site has not answered yet!

The only reason is that Bible tells us to pray. Fine, shall be it, I'll pray, but it really won't matter.

So to be a true man you need to reject passivity, really? If adam rejected passivity, then there really won't be Jesus dying on the cross or in fact anything in the Bible. So just be passive right?! Cause whatever you do, passive or rejecting passivity, it really won't matter. God's going to get what He planned for, anyway.
